Process to Request Support
Request ECB Connect Support
If you are an early learning and care provider and need support for navigating challenging behaviors keeping children enrolled, or finding help when working with young children, ECB Connect will help you access the right supports. Complete the Every Child Belongs (ECB) Support Request form and our IECMHC staff will be in touch with you.
What is Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC)?
IECMH Consultation supports early childhood professionals by helping them respond to children’s behavior, reduce stress, and create inclusive, nurturing environments. Caring for children can be challenging at times – you don’t have to do it alone. Mental health consultation is not about “fixing kids.” Nor is it therapy. Mental health consultation helps caregivers support children’s healthy social and emotional development through relationship-based coaching and training.

I’ve worked in a variety of positions in education for 16 years. A Kinder teacher, facilitating trainings in school safety/suicide prevention, to working in special education. I hold a master’s degree in Education from Portland State University. Social and emotional learning, trauma informed practices, and mental health are all areas I’m passionate and knowledgeable about. Please reach out if you’d like support or want to connect about the IECMHC work.
