Hood River

helps teen parents complete high school while their children are cared for in a certified center on campus. Staff members work closely with the teens to build positive parenting skills, and students may earn credit and learn how to work in a childcare center.

The Wahtonka Center Operated by the Mid-Columbia Children’s Council, provides support for pregnant or parenting teens and adults with children up to age 3 by providing quality center-based care 6 hours per day, 12 months per year. Focused on child development, parent-child interaction, health and nutrition, and community resources.
