About our School
Children learn best when the adults in their lives cooperate for the most important job: the children! We support and respect families.
We recognize parents as being the most important caregivers for children. We strive to partner with parents in caring for their children. We honor each family’s diversity and values through frequent and open communication. All families are welcome to participate in my program.
Every child is special and unique.
Each child is a valued individual with strengths, interests, skills, abilities and knowledge that contribute greatly to their learning. Children in our program will be encouraged to develop a sense of belonging and identity. Children will be known and appreciated for who they are!
Our preschool program uses a combination of high-quality curricula materials, organized and implemented using The Creative Curriculum for Preschoolers and Teaching Strategies Gold.
Your child will go to kindergarten ready to learn academically, socially, and emotionally.
We currently hold an Oregon Quality Recognition and Improvement System Rating of Commitment to Quality. We have received the Preschool Promise Grant for 2022-23
Meet Ana
Hello! I'm Ana, a resident of The Dalles and a proud mother of four amazing kids. Back in 2011, I took the initiative to establish my own childcare center. Initially, it focused on providing afterschool care, but as my family grew and I welcomed my second youngest child, I expanded it to offer full-time childcare. My main goal has always been to foster the development of children, equipping them with the skills they need not only for kindergarten but also for their future.
Exciting news! In 2023, we were honored to receive a preschool promise contract, which allowed us to extend our services to the community, particularly catering to Spanish-speaking children. This expansion has enabled us to further engage with families, ensuring we stay connected and informed about what's happening at school. We make it a point to provide daily updates, share photos, and maintain open lines of communication with parents on a one-on-one basis.
Looking ahead, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to continue offering a safe and nurturing environment for both children and families.
