P3 LEADERSHIP - RURAL ACADEMY PILOT PROJECT (RAPP)

Four Rivers Early Learning and Parenting Hub (4RELH), in partnership with Children’s Institute and Columbia Regional Educator Network is soliciting applications from community teams of K-12 school districts and early learning providers interested in participating in a P3 leadership Academy designed to strengthen collaboration and increase alignment in their Pre-Kindergarten to 3rd grade (P3) education system to better support kids during this critical period of development. The successful applicant will receive support valued at up to $25,000.

A P3 alignment approach brings schools and early learning providers together to support students and families. P3 alignment can play a vital role in building aligned foundational early learning skills, while also helping Districts meet the ODE community partnership guidelines and early literacy family engagement requirements. Grounded in belonging and child wellbeing, it helps schools better meet the needs of every student—especially those with complex lived experiences—through responsive practices and shared professional learning. Collaboration across preschool through third grade creates smoother transitions, reduces challenging behaviors, and fosters a sense of belonging. Meaningful family engagement earlier on also builds trust between home and school, helping all children and families feel welcomed, supported, and ready for success.
