Four River Family: Q3 Partner Newsletter

We are delighted to introduce Amanda Parrott, our new Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant, and the newest member of Four Rivers Family! Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and heart to this role, and we are so excited for the expertise and compassion she will bring to our work.

Reflecting on the Year & Looking Ahead - As we wrap up another impactful year, we are taking time to reflect on our practices and look forward to new opportunities for growth. We're especially focused on strengthening relationships with our Early Learning partners and identifying ways to deepen collaboration in the year ahead.

Supporting Families with Literacy Resources - With great pride, we presented The Next Door, Inc. with a generous number of home visiting kits, filled with tools and resources to support early literacy from birth to age five. These kits are designed to empower families and nurture a love of reading from the very beginning.

Good News for Early Literacy! - Thanks to the powerful advocacy of families and Early Learning leaders across Oregon, funding will continue for the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL)—ensuring that thousands of children will keep receiving books delivered right to their homes. This is a huge win for early literacy!

A Successful Children’s Wellness Summit - Our Children’s Wellness Summit was a resounding success, bringing together nearly 100 attendees from across the region! It was a day filled with learning, connection, and inspiration.

Hopeful for the Future - While statewide budget conversations around early learning have been complex, we remain optimistic and committed to continuing the amazing work happening across our region. The dedication of our partners and the strength of family voices keep us moving forward.
